Nicole Neu is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. Neu spends time exploring shape, line, space and texture throughout her work. She is greatly inspired by the Japanese aesthetics idea of Wabi-sabi. This is the idea that beauty can be found in things that are imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Neu also draws inspiration from Scandinavian design which is defined by simplicity, minimalism and functionality. Neu is always testing the boundaries between organic and linear forms.
